Registration for the 2026 Opelika Diamond Youth Baseball season is now open! To register, please go here.
Register early to receive an early-bird discount of $15. This will bring fees down to $85. Note: the cost will show as $100 until the automatic discount is applied in your cart. This discount expires at midnight on Friday, January 30th, so register early to save.
The deadline to register is Friday, February 6th at midnight.
Opelika Youth is for ages 6-12, based on the player’s age on 4/30/26. Note: If your child is 6 and has never played any type of baseball, we recommend them playing in the Opelika Parks & Rec T-ball/Coach Pitch league. This league plays late Spring/Summer and registration will be open later in the Spring.

Tryout info:
Tryouts will occur on the weekend of February 14-15. Exact dates and times will be posted and emailed at a later date.
Other important dates:
- Friday, 1/30 – Last day of $15 discount.
- Friday, 2/6 – Last day to register.
- Monday, 2/16 – First practice.
- Mon-Thu, 3/23-26 – First week of games.
- TBD – Play Day.
Bat Rules for 2026:
For the 2026 season, Opelika Diamond Youth will be allowing Ozone (11-12) and Minor (9-10) leagues to use USSSA bats (“travel ball bats”).
PeeWee (6-8) league will be required to use USA bats (no T-ball bats), with Ozone and Minor players having the option to use USA bats as well.
